(This photo of Parking Structure "C" on California State University at Northridge Campus was taken shortly after the devastating January 17, 1994 Earthquake. American Safety Institute was contracted to provide and monitor the SAFE demolition of this severely damaged edifice. NO accidents or injuries were reported during this 4 month project. In 1999, our safety representative assisted Cherne Construction on a project at the ARCO Refinery in Carson California where the project workers did not have an OSHA recordable injury for over 450,000 man-hours worked - an outstanding accomplishment for all involved - and an example that safety results can be achieved. )
